I have the Bear Motion Case for my iPad 2 and always take it out in that nice looking case. However, when I am just hanging around the house with my iPad it is not the best case. I thought that a short video review would give the potential buyer a better idea as to the pros and cons of this iPad holder.
When putting the microphone up to the iPad speaker-port of the Lap Lounge I decided not to use the one right next to to speaker in order to see is the Targus really does "channel sound." One reason I never bought a lap accessory for a laptop is they just seem to take up space and not really do much for you. And they tend to run heavy. That is not so with the Lap Lounge for iPad2.
I think one reason this fits so well is it was designed for a particular device. Unlike a laptop lap accessory, it doesn't have to fit a variety of form factors. The result is less compromise and more precision. The iPad2 fits on it without leaving excess width.
I tried the beanbag on a variety of sloped surfaces, just to see if I could make it stay and also make its presentation surface level. Yep, no problem. The beanbag part, though not very big and not at all heavy, provides a wide range of adjustment. For this reason, you don't need to hold your legs at precisely the same height to use the iPad2 on your lap.
If you've spent much time with a laptop on your lap, you've probably experienced those shin cramps and other effects of tensing one leg so you can... Read more

This is one of those things you don't think you need and after you get it you don't know how you ever lived without it.
I sleep around four or five hours a night. My wife sleeps eight, sometimes nine. So, I watch movies on my iPad, listening to the sound with headphones and until I got this, I was sort of holding the iPad in a variety of different positions, not anymore. This thing is perfect for watching movies in bed. Like I said in my opening sentence, I don't know how I ever managed without this.
