In the intervening months since my purchase, similar products have been released which are better suited to my original needs. However, I still enjoy use of this product and have a thorough appreciation of what I see as its primary features: portability and adjustability.
The stand, when folded, slips easily into the neoprene sleeve that it came with, which slides nicely into my laptop case with a profile of less than a centimeter. When I take my laptop out of its case, it's trivial for me to set up the stand, and is truly a boon on the go - the Lazy Suzanne allows me to share my screen easily. The Lazy Suzanne aside, you can set the angle of the stand to one of six settings, although this is nearly impossible to pull off with your laptop still on the stand, so it's not an 'on-the-fly' adjustment per se.

I have two IT guys who are clients and they both said, "I have to get me one of those". It's pretty cool.
