Connect-A-Desk Laptop Holder Reviews
9 of 9 people found the following review helpful Not What I Expected, October 6, 2009 By ETB (Honolulu, HI USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Connect-A-Desk Laptop Holder (Electronics) I read other reviews and they mentioned the word, "flimsy." This was definitely an understatement! The board, if we can even call it that, is made out of a extremely thin piece of flexible plastic. It bowed so badly, that I couldn't even type, and it felt as if the laptop would fall out. There is also a velcro-tipped strap that holds the computer from falling forward, and it runs from one shoulder strap over to the other strap. One end of the strap is sewned onto the left strap, but it does not afix to the right strap. To attach it to the second strap you have to keep wrapping it around the strap until it can attach back to itself. This means that the velcro strap would slide up or down the shoulder strap, which in turn, ceased from being useful as any type of security to the laptop.
I purchased a thin piece of plyboard, and cut it to fit between the eye bolts and rings on the plastic board. I sanded and painted it black, then secured it to the bottom of the plastic... Read more

(i love woot) and had to buy one. Well, I received it and all hell broke loose!!!
I followed all instructions and securely attached my Toshiba 13" laptop.
I work in the field and empty septic tanks. Well all of a sudden I have great suction going at the Glazer's house when I need to slightly lean over and pick yup my on off wrench.
You guessed it...my new laptop ploped right into the Glazer's spetic tank and sunk below the brown sludge that forms. I jumped in and searched but just could find my laptop. Finally after the tank was almost empty I found it. Screen was still lit up because it is one of those rugged model (thank my tush).
I was able to take it home, rinse it off and works to this day. Still smell like the Glazer's but at least I'm not out $3000.
As for the Connect-A-Desk...it is at the bottom of the Glazer's septic holding tank.
If you need any septic work please let me... Read more
2 of 3 people found the following review helpful What a great invention!, March 28, 2008 By This review is from: Connect-A-Desk Laptop Holder (Electronics) I do in home consultations which requires that I walk around taking detailed notes. This has made my life so much easier. It has literally cut my consult time in half. It is very comfortable. The only thing to take note of is that the foam strip at the bottom is only attached with one square of velcro; which makes it a bit flimsy. I chose to remove it and it is still very comfortable.
